Certain types of plastic pipe products, available at home centers and hardware stores will not work
with FORMUFIT PVC fittings and accessories as they use a different measurement system:
IMPORTANT
• CTS (CPVC) Pipe - This product will have ‘CTS’ in the markings on the outside of the pipe.
Typically off-white or tan in color.
•PEX Pipe - Lightweight, flexible pipes for water delivery applications. Typically in red and blue
colors.
•Polyethylene Pipe - Flexible, thin pipe used in irrigation systems. Typically in black color.
•Acrylic Tube - Used in scientific applications and merchandising. Typically clear in color.
