SOFTWARE MENU DETAILS FILE TOOLS CONFIGURATION QUIT EXITS FLASHLINK MANAGER SOFTWARE. LANGUAGE SELECT THE DESIRED LANGUAGE. AUTOMATIC FLASH UNITS OPTIONS Automatically flashes the next plugged-in module with the currently selected firmware. This is the OFFLINE menu to change the module options. It is however not recommended to use the OFFLINE options menu due to the fact that the Technical Support Team might not be able to troubleshoot your setup. Use the options tab instead.

BYPASS OPTIONS BYPASS UNIT OPTIONS TAB EVO-ALL & EVO-ONE This tab brings you to the “BYPASS Options” page. This page is used to turn On/Off specific options depending on your needs. FIRMWARE INSIDE SAVE OPTIONS Shows the software version actually in the module. Saves the selected options in the module. HARDWARE INSIDE COLLAPSE OPTIONS Shows the hardware version of the module. Hides options that are within a menu.
BYPASS OPTIONS LIST GENERIC FUNCTIONS A1 A5 DOOR LOCKS* EVO-ALL & EVO-ONE Turn On/Off vehicle specific options (Sliding doors, Gas cap, Parking lights, Heated seats (see A4), Rear defrosts… Turn On/Off Door locks functions through the vehicle CAN-Bus. A2 TRUNK RELEASE* EVO-ALL & EVO-ONE Turn On/Off Trunk Release function through the vehicle CAN-Bus. A3 A6 AUX.
BYPASS OPTIONS LIST (FOLLOWING) REMOTE STARTER FUNCTIONS D1 STAND-ALONE ENABLE (3X LOCK)* EVO-ALL ONLY Turn On/Off the UNIT embedded Stand Alone remote starter. The vehicle will remote start when the LOCK button is pressed 3 times on the OEM remote. A remote car starter installation can be completed using only the interface module. An aftermarket remote car starter is not required. If using RF-Kit for remote starting, D1 Stand-Alone Enable must to be ON.

REMOTE STARTER OPTIONS REMOTE STARTER UNIT OPTIONS TAB EVO-ONE & E400 Applicable to the EVO-ONE and E400, the remote starter convenience options can be set directly in the FlashLink Manager. This section also allows updating the remote starter firmware when an update is available. Refer to installation guide for minimum requirements. RESET MODULE OPTIONS FIRMWARE INSIDE Saves the selected options in the module. Shows the software version actually in the module.

Will unlock before remote-start, lock after start, and relock after shutdown. SINGLE 0.25 SEC PULSE. SUGGESTED OPTIONS LOAD SUGGESTED OPTIONS This new feature has been designed to save you time and to simplify your module setup on the FLASHLINK MANAGER. When clicked, the FLASHLINK MANAGER will load a list of suggested options in link with your type of module, your type of installation, and your specific vehicle model and year. This feature is available for the Bypass and the Remote Starter mode.
DCRYPTOR PROCESS DCRYPTOR PROCESS TECHNOLOGY This tab will bring you to the Process DCRYPTOR Page. The DCRYPTOR is used to calculate the Key Data to bypass the factory immobilizer. Follow the steps described in the programming procedure of the installation manual to sample the information from the vehicle’s immobilizer system. That information will then be sent to the DCRYPTOR’s Super Calculator, that will calculate the Key Data. Key Data will then be sent back to your module.

Displays available generic install guides for the module plugged in. EXTERNAL TRIGGERS Displays a list of available External Trigger devices that are compatible with the module plugged in. Those devices can be used to trigger the alarm or to remote start the vehicle under certain specific conditions.

CLICK ON THE RECOMMENDED UPDATE BUTTON. THE FIRMWARE UPDATE CONFIRMATION DIALOG BOX WILL OPEN A progress bar will indicate the process completion percentage. When the Flash Update process is done, the module will reboot itself. 9 51 DISCONNECT THE MODULE AND YOU ARE READY TO CONTINUE WITH THE VEHICLE INSTALLATION OR PROGRAMMING.

HOW TO USE THE DCRYPTOR PROCESS ? 9 10 CLICK ON SEND DATA BUTTON. 11 Make sure to click the UPDATE UNIT button to send the Immobilizer info back in the Module. If you do not click that button, you will not be able to remote start the vehicle. THE IMMOBILIZER DATA IS NOW BEING ANALYZED BY THE DCRYPTOR SERVERS AND A NEW KEY CODE IS BEING GENERATED. PLEASE WAIT AS THIS PROCESS MAY TAKE A FEW MINUTES.
HOW TO FLASH UPDATE THE FLASHLINK UPDATER ? 1 2 3 4 RUN FLASHLINK MANAGER SOFTWARE. MAKE SURE THAT THE 20 PIN CONNECTOR AND THE 6 PIN CONNECTOR, ARE DISCONNECTED FROM THE MODULE. IF CONNNECTED, DISCONNECT THE 20 PIN CONNECTOR FROM THE MODULE FIRTS AND THEN THE 6 PIN CONNECTOR. 5 DISCONNECT THE USB CABLE. PLUG IN THE FLASHLINK UPDATER INTO THE COMPUTER’S USB PORT WITH THE PROVIDED USB CABLE. 6 69 CLICK ON HELP AND THEN ON FLASHLINK FIRMWARE UPDATE. WAIT 5 SEC AND RECONNECT THE USB CABLE.

FlashLink Updater 4 Interface for online firmware programming on PC computer for Fortin compatible module Do not connect the Flash Link Updater to your computer until the software has been installed first. If a previous version of the program has been installed it must be uninstalled before installing a new version. A Microsoft Windows administrator account is required to install or update the Flash Link Manager software package.
FIRST WINDOWS INSTALLATION 1 Open http://fortin.ca/en/support/flashlinkmanager.html with your Internet browser. Read the EULA. X.XX Click “I Agree with the end-user license agreement” and click “DOWNLOAD NOW”. 2 After clicking “I Agree” the download will begin. Choose a location on your computer to save the file. Once the download is complete double-click the download to begin the installation Setup Wizard. 3 The Installation Setup Wizard will load. Click “Next” 4 Read the License Agreement.
PROGRAM UPDATE The appearance of a window “New version” during the opening of the program means that a new version is available to : Click on “Download” in order to start the update of the program. or “OK” in order to download the program on the next visit. Follow the instructions 2 to 8 of this guide in order to complete the installation.* *Only a user with a administrator account on the computer will be able to install and update the program. MISE À JOUR DU PROGRAMME L'apparition de la fenêtre «Nouvelle Version» à l'ouverture du programme signifie qu'une nouvelle version du programme est disponible au téléchargement : Cliquez «Télécharger» pour commencer la mise à jour du programme. ou «OK» pour télécharger le programme lors d'une prochaine visite.
