FORTRESS eFlex 5.4 kWh LITHIUM BATTERY Rack Selection Instructions
AIM: This instructional guide is meant to help FORTRESS POWER business partners in selecting
commercially available standard racking for the eFlex 5.4 product.
Scope: eFlex installation
Technical Summary:
The eFlex is designed for versatile installation methods. The size of eFlex size is (DxWxH)
21.5*17.5*7.2 inches, allowing the product to fit into any standard 19-inch industrial server rack. Please
pay attention to the following major notes when selecting a standard server rack as a battery rack.
1. eFlex is designed for shelf mounting, not for rack mounting
2. Shelf weight rating > 120lb.
3. Shelf usable width should be > 17.5 inch.
4. Shelf should not have edge which usually has less than 17.5 inch usuable width, as shown in
the examples below
