Manually Connecting to a Wi-Fi Network
Manually connecting or disconnecting will disable automatic connection for that
technology.
Enabling and Disabling the Automatic Connection Feature
The Auto button lights up when the automatic connection feature is enabled. It will
remain lit as long as the overall feature is enabled, even if automatic connection for
specific technologies has been disabled by manually connecting or disconnecting.
Click this button to disable the automatic connection feature for all technology
types. The indicator will dim.
Click this button again to re-enable automatic connection for all technology types.
The indicator will illuminate once more.
Note: This is one of two auto connect features provided by the Sprint Smart View
software. The other auto connect feature is described in Automatic Connection upon
Device Attachment.
The File Menu
Clicking File in the menu bar produces a menu that provides the following function:
Enable Airplane Mode
Selecting this item disables all adapters. An airplane icon will appear in the main window
to indicate that airplane mode has been engaged. Click this icon or select the menu item
a second time to return to normal operation.
Exit
Exit the Sprint Smart View application.
The Tools Menu
Clicking Tools in the menu bar of the Sprint Smart View 's main window produces a short
menu with the following options:
Note: Wi-Fi-related items will not appear in this menu if you have disabled Sprint Smart
View’s Wi-Fi Support. To re-enable Wi-Fi functions, check the Use this as my default Wi-
Fi management utility box on the Client Tab of the Settings window.
