Note: Data compression is in effect only when Sprint Smart View is connected to a
network that supports it and has successfully negotiated a session with that network's
data acceleration server. Also, it is not currently supported on 64-bit Windows Vista
systems.
Settings: App Launcher
Applications listed in the App Launcher settings tab will appear in the Application Launch
Menu. In addition to adding and removing applications from the list, you can specify
whether each application will be automatically launched when you connect and how
Sprint Smart View should respond when a particular application is shut down.
 Adding an application to the list
 Editing the parameters for an application in the list
Automatically Launching Applications
 Automatically launching one or more applications
 Changing the order in which applications are launched
 Stopping an application from being launched
Monitoring Applications
 Responding to the shutdown of a specific application
Settings: Client
The Client tab contains general settings for the Sprint Smart View software. The
following options are available:
User interface is always on top
When this box is checked, Sprint Smart View will always appear on top of other
application windows.
Enable splash screen
If this box is checked, Sprint Smart View displays a splash screen while it starts up.
Automatically run this application on machine startup
When this box is checked, Sprint Smart View will be launched automatically each time
