3.11 Using PONS Das große

Bildwörterbuch

Use the PONS große Bildwörterbuch to search words and their

translations from color images in English, French, German, Italian and

Spanish.

1. To access PONS Das große Bildwörterbuch, press / / / to

select PONS Das große Bildwörterbuch in the Books menu and

then press

+ F5 for direct access.

2. Press SOURCE or TARGET to limit the search within the selected

language.

• Thesourcelanguageistheoneinwhichyouuseforsearching.The

target language is the one in which you wish to view the denition

or translation. Your current selections show at the top right of the

screen.

3. Type a word.

• See 3.12 Hints on Inputting Words.

• Or,press / to select a category and then press

. If

subcategories exist, repeat this step for further selections.

4. Press

when the entry you want is selected.

5. Press the number or letter key corresponding to the callouts

in the diagram to view the word and translation in a pop-up

window.
