TROUBLESHOOTING
1. How to increase accuracy
of voice recognition and
translation?
a) Connect your device to the
internet via wifi or share hotspot
from cell phone.
b) Try to speak closer to the
microphone.
c) Try to speak louder and clearer.
d) Try to use fluent and structured
sentence when speak.
2. What else may affect the
Offline translation accuracy
of Langie?
a) Noisy environment
b) Different accent
c) Too long or too short phrases
** Online Translator can work in
noisy environment if the Wi-Fi
connection is stable.
13) I am a language learner
but I am hard to follow the
voice, what's your suggestion?
For a Roman language, we
suggest you to turn ON history
or save the phrases in your
Favorite record, review them
and hear several time.
For a non-Roman language,
you may scroll up/down to see
the whole display which shows
both original characters and
Roman pronunciation. It will be
easier to you to listen the voice
the Roman display.
14) Why the Langie cannot
recognize my MicroSD card?
** MicroSD cannot be bigger
than 32GB, please check the
memory size of your card.
** MicroSD format is the FAT32,
if not, please format the
card to FAT32 and try it again.

3. How to connect to wifi after
typing password without an
“ENTER” key on the keyboard?
Tap "OK" key on keyboard after
typing and press “CONNECT”.
4) Why I cannot connect to
internet even the wifi name
shown as “SAVED”?
Saved network only represents
it is not a new network but it does
not mean LANGIE has already
connected to the network.
Press the network name and
connect again.
5. How to do when I fail to
connect to “SAVED” network?
Press and hold the network name,
choose “FORGET”. Press the
network name again and enter
password.
6. Does Langie still work even
without internet connection?
Yes. Offline functions as below:
a) Limited language translation
(Refer to Manual).
b) Offline translation accuracy at
40-50% while Online translation
accuracy at 90-100%.
c) Learning functions and Multimedia
run as usual.
7. Why even my Langie has
connected to internet, there is
still a pop up message showing
that the internet is not available?
Langie processes translation via
cloud server, sometimes it may not
be able to access the big data
from the cloud server outside this
country if the country controls its
own internet controlling system.
You may try it again.
8) What are the techniques in using
the speak button?
a) Do not release your finger when
you are speaking
b) Start to speak only after you hear
the sound signal when you press
the speak button
c) Do not release your finger
immediately after you speak,
hold the speak button for awhile.
9) Why the translated content
does not come in audio but text
only?
a) Langie may experience a delay
after language switch as it takes
some time to reload database.
b) The audio translation may not be
available of that particular
language.
10) What is the meaning of the
“MUTE” icon shown next to a
language?
If there is a “MUTE” icon next to a
language, it means the audio
translation of that language is not
available. Translated content will
only be displayed in text instead of
audio.
11) How to repeat playing the
audio of translated content?
Tap the screen to repeat playing
audio of translated content.
12) What to do when the Langie
is hanged?
Press on/off key and don't
release it until you can see
the LCD is off.
** Only owner can Lock/Remove/
Transfer the ownership.
** In Group Info, hold the participant
name can remove or transfer
ownership.
