Limited Warranty
Freecam warrants the Freecam hardware (the “Product”), and only the
Product, against defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for
a period of one year from the date of purchase by the original purchaser
(“Warranty Period”). Under this Limited Warranty, if a defect arises and a
valid claim is received by Freecam within the Warranty Period regarding the
Product, at its option and to the extent permitted by law, Freecam will either
(1) repair the Device using either new or refurbished parts,
(2) replace the Device with a new or refurbished Device that is equivalent to
the Device to be replaced, or
(3) refund to you all or part of the purchase price of the Device.
1. WHAT THE WARRANTY COVERS
For a period of one (1) year from the date of purchase of your Freecam
product, or one (1) year from the date of receipt of your replacement
Freecam product, Freecam will, at its sole option, repair or replace any
Freecam products that malfunction due to defective parts or workmanship at
no charge to you. This warranty is not transferable and applies only to the
original consumer purchaser. Freecam may, in its sole discretion, make any
repair or replacement with new or refurbished product or components. If the
product or component requiring repair or replacement is no longer available,
Freecam may, in its sole discretion, replace such product with a similar
product of similar function.
2. WHAT THE WARRANTY DOES NOT COVER
This warranty does not apply:
(1) to consumable parts, such as batteries or protective coatings
that are designed to diminish over time, unless failure has occurred due to a
defect in materials or workmanship;
(2) to cosmetic damage, including but not limited to scratches, dents and
broken
plastic on ports;
(3) to damage caused by use with another product;
(4) to damage caused by accident, abuse, misuse, liquid contact, fire,
earthquake or other external cause;
