Sleep Mode

When your headset has remained in Seek Mode

for ﬁve minutes without ﬁnding a link, it will

go into Sleep Mode. While in Sleep Mode, the

headset uses no power. To awaken your headset

from Sleep Mode, depress the PTT button, which

activates Seek Mode.

Charging the Battery

To charge the battery on your headset, con-

nect the included AC power adapter into your

AC power outlet, and then to the charging jack

located on the back of the headset. (see diagram

on page 9) In a few seconds, the charge indica-

tor light on the headset will ﬂash red, indicating

that charging is in progress.

Note: Please do not use or wear the headset

while charging.

Important: Charge the headset battery at least

six hours before ﬁrst use. Subsequent charges

take just three hours (approximate). The charge

indicator light will turn green when the headset

battery is fully charged.

Important: Do not attempt to charge the head-

set battery using a USB cable other than the USB

cable provided by FreeLinc. Failure to comply

may result in decreased battery capacity.

Changing Ear Gels

The key to comfort and a secure ﬁt requires the

user to take time to test ﬁt each ear gel. Follow

these steps to select the ear gel that works best

for you.

• Install the ﬁrst gel over the plastic ridge on the ear bud

• Gently rotate the pointed end of the ear gel toward the front

of the headset

• Place the ﬂexible neck of the headset over the top of your ear

and slowly wrap the headset around the back of your lower

ear

• Carefully pull your earlobe through the lower portion of the

headset

• Slowly rock the ear bud assembly to ensure optimal ear gel

placement

• Repeat the process with each size of ear gel until you ﬁnd the

best personal ﬁt and comfort
