PRELIMINARY
The example below shows a configuration where a Master routinely calls a number of Slaves at different
times. The Master is communicating with a transceiver designated as a Slave/Repeater that is connected
to a remote device. Since this device is placed in an elevated location, the transceiver may also be used
as a Repeater when it is not used as a Slave. At any time the Master may call any of the Slaves, establish
a connection, and send and receive data.
The next example depicts a standard Point-to-MultiPoint network. From the Master, any data is broadcast
to all three Slaves, one of which receives it through a MultiPoint Repeater. The data is in turn sent out of
the serial port of each of the three Slaves. The end device should be configured to interpret the serial
message and act on it if necessary.
