Select an area with adequate drainage.
- Material such as concrete should be consid-
ered to withstand strong coastal winds.
- The height and width should be more than
150% of the outdoor unit.
- More than 2ft of space should be kept
between the windbreak and outdoor unit to
ensure proper airflow.
CAUTION
- Air conditioners should not be installed
in areas where corrosive gases, such as
acid or alkaline gas, are produced.
- Do not install the product where it could
be exposed to sea wind (salty wind)
directly. It can result corrosion on the
product. Corrosion, particularly on the
condenser and evaporator fins, could
cause product malfunction or inefficient
performance.

Selecting the location(Outdoor Unit)
If they outdoor equipment must be installed on
the coastal side of a building, direct exposure
to coastal winds should be avoided.

NOTE

- Periodic ( more than once/year )
cleaning of the dust or salt particles
stuck on the condenser by using
water.
* Do not use salt water to clean equip-
ment, doing so could result in equip-
ment failure.
If system is to be installed in coastal area,
windbreak should be installed to protect
against excess winds, sand and salt.
