WHAT’S INCLUDED IN MY LITERATURE PACKET?
You have some extra items in your literature pack, including hinge covers, a

Air Ultra II™ Air Filter,
an ice scoop, and your Use & Care Manual. Flip over this guide for install instructions for your air
filter. For more detailed information, reference your Use & Care Manual.
SET UP YOUR FREEZER
Prior to using your freezer, make sure it is located on a floor that is level and strong enough to
support it fully loaded. Check out INSTALLATION in your Use & Care Manual.
BEFORE OPERATING FOR THE FIRST TIME
Clean the inside of your appliance before using it. See the CARE AND CLEANING section in your
Use & Care Manual. To ensure safe food storage, allow the appliance to operate with the door
closed for at least 8 hours before loading it with food.
Appliance Control Display
The appliance control display
is located in the cabinet
below the upper drawer.
Alarms and Controls
REMEMBER
• Allow 24 hours for the temperature to stabiize
between adjustments.
• Avoid frozen packages hanging over the middle shelf
to allow the freezer door to maintain a good seal.
• If installing any combination of refrigerators or
freezers together, you will need a Pairing Kit
(TWINSPAIRKIT). We also suggest a Trim Kit to
complete your seamless design. Kits are available at
any authorized retailer or Frigidaire.com.
DOOR OPEN illuminates and alert sounds if the door is
open 5+ minutes until you close the door.
POWER OUTAGE illuminates and alert sounds after a
power outage ends until you reset it by pressing any button.
HIGH TEMP illuminates and alert sounds if the temperature
increases above a safe temperature range until you reset it.
Press and hold for 3 seconds to enable/disable the
appliance control display. While locked, no changes can
be made until unlocked.
Press to reveal other function icons.
Press + to raise the temperature and — to lower the
temperature on the appliance control.
TEMP °F/°C allows you to switch between Fahrenheit (°F)
and Celsius (°C).
Prior to grocery shopping, we recommend you activate
FREEZE BOOST to freeze your food faster.
AIR FILTER illuminates when it’s time to change the filter,
generally after 6 months.
The ICE MAKER is already on and will make ice until the
ice bin is full. Press and hold ICE MAKER for 3 seconds
to turn it on/o.
