OVEN CONTROLS
Setting Bake
Use the bake feature whenever the recipe calls for
baking using normal temperatures.
CAUTION
Always use pot holders or oven mitts when using
the oven. When cooking the oven interior, oven
racks, and cooktop will become very hot which
can cause burns.
Do not bake foods directly on the oven bottom.
To avoid damaging the oven interior and surfaces,
always bake foods in the oven using bakeware
positioned on an oven rack.
To set Bake:
1. Arrange oven racks while the oven is still cool.
2. Turn the oven temp knob to the spark position
(
) and press the knob to ignite the oven
burner.
3. After the burner lights, turn the knob to the
desired temperature.
4. Allow the oven to preheat for 15 minutes before
baking. Preheating is not necessary when
roasting, cooking casseroles, or broiling most
foods.
5. To cancel the baking function, turn the oven
temp knob to the OFF position.
