CONTROLS AND SETTINGS
Alarms
Power Outage
In the event of a power failure, the power
outage alert illuminates once power has
been restored and a tone sounds. Press
any button to silence the tone.
Door Open
If you have left a door open for 5 minutes
or more, an alarm sounds and the door
open indicator illuminates on the display.
You can turn o the alarm by closing the
door or pressing any key. The appliance
control display returns to normal opera-
tions after you close the door.
High Temperature
In the event of a high temperature condi-
tion, an alarm sounds. The appliance
control display reads HI on whichever
compartment the alert is detected in and
an alarm sounds over 10 seconds until you
acknowledge the alert. You can turn o
the alarm by closing the door or pressing
any key.
Flapper (Dispenser Models Only)
If the flapper (or ice chute door) is held
open by a jammed ice cube when you
select Cube or Crush, an alarm sounds
and the current selection blinks on the
dispenser control. The alarm resets when
you remove the ice cube.
NOTE
Unit should stabilize temperatures
within 24 hours of installation.
Air Port
NOTE
The recommended settings for a prod-
uct installed in a kitchen is 37˚F for the
fresh food compartment and 0˚F for
the freezer.
IMPORTANT
If food is freezing in the fresh food
compartment, increase the temperature
setting by 1 or 2 degrees. Wait 24 hours
for temperature to stabilize.
IMPORTANT
Food placed within 1 inch in front of
the air ports may cause food to freeze.
Ensure air ports are not blocked.
