Installation Guide for Wood Slat Walls

Step 1: Preparation for work with Plywood / Drywall

Before starting the construction process, it is advisable to

prepare the base by using plywood or MDF. Remove any existing

wallpaper or ﬁlm from the surface to ensure a clean foundation.

Step 2: Adhesive Application

Apply generous amount of a "construction grade" Adhesive

(Instant Grab or Power Grab) using a Caulking Gun. This step

helps in securing the materials together for a more robust

construction.

Step 3: Horizontal or Vertical Direction

Install the materials either horizontally or vertically as needed.

Secure the pieces by screwing them onto the tongue or

interlocking space, ensuring a sturdy and reliable ﬁxing.

Step 4: Cutting with Circular Saw

Utilize a circular saw (preferably a ceramic blade) to cut the

materials to the required length. This ensures precision and

accuracy in tailoring the components to ﬁt the construction

speciﬁcations.

Step 5: Corner Assembly

For corners, combine the two grooves of the materials. This step

ensures a seamless and tight ﬁt at the corners, enhancing the

overall structural integrity of the construction.
