INSTRUCTIONS FOR BP17A BRUSH PILE

FOR WINDOWS

Open the sliding panel halfway. Lift up on the edges, tilt the bottom inward, and lower

the window out of the window frame. Set the panel aside.

Locate the pile weatherstrip on the inner edges of the vertical window frame where the

sliding panel closes. Using a flat-head screwdriver, pry up the small tabs that hold the

upper and lower edges of each strip at the inner edges of the frame. Pull the strips out

of the small channels on the frame by hand.

Place one of the old strips on a flat surface. Place one of the new pile strips alongside it

and even one end of each. Cut the new strip to length where it lines up at the other end

of the old one, using scissors. Repeat this and cut the other new strip to length.

Remove the adhesive and position one of the new strips where one of the old ones was

removed and align the upper and lower ends with the upper and lower ends of the

frame. Repeat this and fit the other strip into the channels on the opposite, inside face

of the frame.

Install the sliding panel into the window frame in the reverse order as it was removed,

and slide the panel closed.
