GettingStarted
OUTDOOR use only. Practice first, in a wide-open area, away from any
obstacles:
1. Power ON CaddyTrek (switch is on the Control Box)
2. Position yourself to directly face the large wheels of CaddyTrek,
then power on the handset.
3. Point the handset towards CaddyTrek to establish communication.
You will hear two short beeps once the communication link is
established.
CaddyTrek will be in the "STAND-BY" mode with the SB LED
light flashing.
RemoteControlmode(RC)
1. Position yourself behind the large wheels of CaddyTrek with your
chest facing the caddy. You must always have CaddyTrek in front of
you while in Remote Control mode.
2. Hold down the LEFT directional button on the RC for 3 seconds.
You will hear a short beep and the RC LED (Remote Control) light
will turn on.
Press UP, DOWN, LEFT, or RIGHT directional buttons to
move CaddyTrek
Long Press or keep pressing the UP directional button will
quickly accelerate CaddyTrek to its maximum forward speed.
3. Press the STOP button to stop the caddy. CaddyTrek will remain in
the RC mode.
4. Press the STOP button again will get CaddyTrek out of the Remote
Control mode and into the Stand-By mode.
ManualPush/PullMode
1. Make sure the caddy is on a leveled ground
2. Power off CaddyTrek and the handset
3. Push or pull CaddyTrek with the handle bar
FoldingCaddyTrek
Folding CaddyTrek is easy after you’ve
practiced a few times. Refer to the setup
photos and follow in reverse order:
Make sure CaddyTrek is placed on leveled
ground and is powered off.
Loosen the two black knobs on the Upper
Bag Support Bar, lower the handle, and
tighten the two black knobs.
Fold in the 5
th
wheel (pull wheel arm to the
left then slide the wheel under the Control
Box).
Loosen the two yellow knobs on the lower
frame. Release the yellow flap (lock) on the
Frame Lock in the middle.
Step on the 5
th
wheel bracket. Use one hand
to grab the Small Wheel Bar and push it
inward, while your other hand grabs the
Upper Bag Support Bar and lowers it over
the Small Wheels Bar. Make sure the caddy
is tucked in tightly and securely. Refer to the
user manual for complete details (reverse
steps of the unfolding instructions shown on
the opposite side of this card).
Tighten the two yellow knobs.
CaddyTrek is now ready to be picked up by
the Handle and stored away.
Precautions
Use CaddyTrek on golf courses only. Do not
operate CaddyTrek in other environments.
RF interference from other environments
may occur when outside of a golf course
which may cause abnormal or erratic
behavior of the caddy.
DO NOT let any object or towel block or
hang in front of the sensors.
CaddyTrek will follow best when you
position your body directly in front of the
large wheels. Position yourself as close as
possible to CaddyTrek to perform U-turns or
sharp turns. Walk slowly when turning.
Use caution when operating CaddyTrek in a
confined area, on steep slopes, or side hills.
Walk slowly or use Manual Mode as needed.
Walk slowly and guide CaddyTrek carefully
to clear hazardous areas, water bodies,
bunkers, cliffs, etc. We recommend you
practice, practice, practice, and after a few
holes, your CaddyTrek will become your
best friend!
Do not direct CaddyTrek towards people, or
other carts.
Do not discard the original shipping carton
after unpacking your CaddyTrek. Should
your CaddyTrek need to be shipped for
service, repacking in the original shipping
carton would be needed. Keep the carton in a
safe and dry place.
Followmode(FL)
1. Position yourself in front of the large
wheels of CaddyTrek with your back
towards the caddy.
2. Clip the handset in your back pocket or on
a belt as shown.
3. Press the Follow button (you will hear a
short beep).
4. Start walking. CaddyTrek will follow at
your pace.
5. When you are ready to hit a shot or putt,
press the Follow button again or the STOP button to stop the caddy.
Caddy will go into Stand-By (SB) mode. You will hear one long and
one short beep when CaddyTrek is switched to SB mode
