The model provides optional GPS. For details, consult with your local vendor.
8) Duration of TX Preamble (ms)
Preamble i s a b it stri ng ad ded b efore d ata m essage or c ontrol message (te xt m essage
transfer, p osition m essage transfer , reg istry, tw o-way radio detection, si ngle-call, etc)
before transmission. This preamble increases SMS length to reduce probability of missing
message for RX two-way radio. The duration of TX preamble is set to be the duration of
preamble. When s canning number increases for the tar get two-way radio, increase of the
duration of preamble is also required accordingly. If the scanning two-way radio loses data
message ofte n, in crease this val ue in al l t he TX tw o-way radios . N evertheless, a higher
preamble will occupy the channel for a longer time. Thus, increase of the duration of TX
preamble (0-8640 ms) can increase the success rate of receiving data when other two-way
radios are scanning, but data volume able to be transmitted in the channel will be reduced.
9) Suspension Duration of Talk around Group Call (ms)
It is used to set the dur ation the two-way radio us es previously received or previ ously
transmitted digital group ID to a nswer received calls or continue transmitted talk around
group calling. After the tim er of tal k around group calling becomes invalid, the two-way
radio uses the TX address book (digital group) specified by the channel for transmission.
The du ration range from 0 t o 70 00 ms. I t i s 20 00 ms by default. If the repeater is used ,
change this duration to 4000 m s to pre vent freque nt c onnection applications. If
communication is real ized via t he re peater, pleas e m anually disconnect i t after call t o
release repeater resources.
10Suspension time of talk around private call (ms)
It is used to set the duration the two-way radio keeps talk around private call setting after a
user presses t he (PTT) key . This ca n pre vent re-setting the ca ll e ach time a user presses
PTT for transm ission. D uring t his, t he c hannel in fac t is uno ccupied, so o ther t wo-way
radios are st ill c apable of transmission. After th e s uspension timer b ecomes in valid, th e
two-way radio uses t he T X address b ook sp ecified by the c hannel for transm ission. The
duration ranges from 0 to 7000 ms. It is 2000 ms by default. If the repeater is used, change
this duration to 4000 ms to prevent frequent connection applications. If communication is
realized via the repeater, please manually disconnect it after call to release trunk resources.
