available. In digital mode, a user can only send out a call prompt to a single two-way
radio.
TwoEdit
Enable a user to edit alphanum
eric ch aracters on the screen. A user can add new
items to the contact list and edit existing items in the contact list.
ThreeManual Dialing
Enable a user to access “M anual Dialing” function
via menu. Even though tar get ID
is not in the address book, a user can input ta rget ID to initiate a call or send a SMS
via keyboard by “Manual Dialing” (such as a private call or call prompt).
FourDevice Detection
Enable a use
r to send “detection” request via menu. “detection” allows a us er to
determine whether the two-way radio in the system is active without displaying any
indicator to the user.
SevenRemote Destroy
Enable a user to send a “rem
ote destroy” command to the target two-way radio via
menu. If the request is sent successfully, all user interfaces will be disabled by the
target two-way radio (for example, all indicators including backlight, prompt tones
and all user inputs including PPT, e xcluding “Volum e/ON/OFF” knob on the
handset and “Power ON/OFF” on the onboard set). An emergency alarm or data
received by t he two-way r adio or external device will be ignore d to m ake v oice
received mute and the function of trans mitting data or command is disabled. If the
two-way radi o is l ost or s tolen, enable this feature to disable the two-way ra dio.
Nevertheless, the two-way radio will conti nue to m onitor air int erface to receive
“activation” command.
EightActivation
Enable a user to send “Activation” comma nd to t
he target two-way radio via menu.
“Activation” command is used to enable the disabled target two-way radio.
NineRemote Monitor
Enable a user
to send a “re mote monitor” request to target two-way radio via menu.
If the request is sent successfully , the microphone and transm itter of the target
two-way radio will be activated for remote monitor.
