Preparations for use
The X100 camera  rmware must be updated to version
1.3.0 or later for optimal aberration control. Users of earlier
versions can download the latest  rmware from http://www.
fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/software/firmware/x/
finepix_x100/index.html (if you do not have access to a
computer, support is available from the local distributor
listed in the “FUJIFILM Worldwide Network” material provided
with your camera).
Attaching the conversion lens
1 Turn o the camera.
2 Remove the front ring from the camera as described on
page 101 of the camera manual.
3 Remove the lens caps on the front and rear of the
conversion lens.
4 Attach the conversion lens to the camera (Fig.1).
When using the conversion lens, select ON for Y WIDE
CONVERSION LENS in the camera shooting menu.
Note
Be careful not to drop the conversion lens or camera when
attaching/removing the conversion lens.
Removing the conversion lens
1 Turn o the camera.
2 Remove the conversion lens from the camera.
When the conversion lens is not in use, select OFF for
Y WIDE CONVERSION LENS in the camera shooting
menu.
Notes on use
• Use a blower to remove dust and lint from the lens
surfaces. To remove smudges and  ngerprints, apply a
small amount of ethanol or lens cleaner to a soft, clean
cotton cloth or lens-cleaning tissue and clean from the
center outwards using a circular motion, taking care not to
leave smears or touch the glass with your  ngers.
• If the lens will not be used for an extended period, store
it in a cool, dry location to prevent mold and rust. Do not
store in direct sunlight or with naphtha or camphor moth
balls.
• Leaving the lens in extremely hot locations could cause
damage or warping.
• Do not subject to strong physical shocks.
• Always place the lens caps on the front and rear of the
conversion lens when storing.
• After attaching the conversion lens, do not carry the
camera by holding the conversion lens.
• Attaching the conversion lens in the incorrect orientation
may damage the camera.

コンバージョンレンズの取り付けかた
1 カメラの電源をオフにします。
2 フロントリングをカメラから取りはずします。フ
ロントリングのはずし方はカメラの使用説明書

3 コンバージョンレンズの前後のキャップをはずしま
す。
4 カメラにコンバージョンレンズを取り付けます。

コンバージョンレンズを使用するときは、カメラの撮影
メニューの Y ワイドコンバージョンレンズを
ON
にし
てください。

お手入れと取り扱い上のご注意
• レンズ面の清掃は、ホコリを拭う程度にしてくださ
い。指紋がついたときは、柔らかい清潔な木綿の布
に無水アルコール（エタノール）または市販のレン
ズクリーナーを少量湿らせ、レンズの中心から外周
へ渦巻状に、拭きムラ、拭き残りのないように注意
して拭いてください。
• コンバージョンレンズを長期間使用しないときは、
カビやサビを防ぐために、高温多湿のところを避け
て保管してください。また、直射日光のあたるところ、
ナフタリンや樟脳のあるところも避けてください。
• ストーブの前など、高温になるところに置かないで
ください。極端に温度が高くなると、製品が変形す
ることがあります。
• コンバージョンレンズを取り付けるときやご使用に
なる際には、衝撃を与えないように充分ご注意くだ
さい。
• 保管の際には必ずコンバージョンレンズの前後に
キャップを取り付けてください。
• カメラにコンバージョンレンズを取り付けたあと、
コンバージョンレンズを持ってカメラを持ち運ばな
いでください。
• コンバージョンレンズを逆に取り付けると、カメラ
を破損することがありますのでご注意ください。

Converts the focal length of a lens to wide angle (by 0.8×) without
changing its F-stop value (lens brightness).

コンバージョンレンズをお使いになる前の準備
• このコンバージョンレンズ装着時には、X100 カメ
ラ本体がレンズに最適化した収差補正を行うため、
カメラのファームウェアは、Ver.1.30 以降である
必要があります。
• Ver.1.30 よりも古いファームウェアをご使用の方
は、以下のホームページからバージョンアップして
ください。
