Inserting Batteries

Remove the batteries if the product will not be used for an ex-
tended period. The batteries may be hot immediately after the
ash has red a number of times in succession; observe cau-
tion when removing the batteries.
Battery Life and Recycling Time
Battery life and recycling time vary with battery type, as
is shown in the table below (in-house measurements).

when ready lamp takes over 30 seconds to light. Measured using fresh
batteries manufactured within last three months.
