Shutter Speed
For best result, shutter speed should approximately equal the time
it takes for the ash to re the selected number of times. Shutter
speed can be calculated as follows:
Shutter speed = number of lashes ÷ frequency
For example, if the ash is set to re 20 times at a frequency of 4Hz,
choose a shutter speed around 5 s.

Note that the ash may display a temperature warning and
temporarily suspend operation after being red multiple times
in succession (
P
95).

For best results, use a tripod, a remote release, and an EF-BP1
battery pack.
