There is no need to keep the shutter button pressed
during recording.
A Notes
Focus, exposure and white balance are adjusted
automatically throughout recording. The color
and brightness of the image may vary from that
displayed before recording begins.
If the subject is poorly lit, the AF-assist lamp
may light to assist the focus operation. To turn
the AF-assist lamp off, select OFF for the b AF
ILLUMINATOR option in the setup menu (pg. 87).
A Recording Movies
Shoot short movies at 30 frames per second. Sound is recorded via the built-in microphone; do not
cover the microphone during recording.
