Select Macro mode to take close-up shots.
Set the Power switch to “q”.

Set the Mode dial to “B”, “N”, “M”, “<” or “>”
mode.

The Macro mode setting changes each time you
press the “e” button.

! Macro mode is cancelled in the following situations:
i When the Photography mode is changed to “
r” or “?”
i When the camera is turned off
●
! If the flash is too bright, use flash brightness adjustment
(➡P.64).
●
! If you are shooting in a dark location (when the “|” camera
shake warning icon appears), use a tripod to prevent camera
shake.
