Commissioning
In this section:
6.1.1 Apply Power t o RU
6.1.2 Complet e RU Installat ion
6.1.3 Radio Commissioning
Prior to commissioning the RU, the following tasks must be complet ed:
■ Circuit breaker is off prior to connecting the RU
■ All cables at the RU are connected and terminat ed
■ Optical SFP inst alled
■ Ant enna connection is complete
Important: The RU does not have a power switch. DC power on/ off is cont rolled by the circuit
breaker of the DC power source. The circuit breaker must be off when connecting the RU.
Note: The RU wait s for at least 10 seconds when the DC power supply is turned on.
■ Keep the temperature and humidity wit hin the specified conditions.
■ Do not place around objects t hat obstruct the flow of air.
■ To avoid damaging the opt ical receiving equipment, do not input optical signals higher than the maximum
received light level to the opt ical interface. The opt ical received may be damaged.
■ Do not submerge or bury in snow

Apply Power to RU
This procedure describes how to power up the RU.
Prerequisites:
■ Torx driver
■ RU mounted and not powered up
■ Available –48V power cable
