4 Preparation

V CAUTION!

Please note the safety instructions in chapter “Safety” on page 13.

4.1 Opening the server

Ê Exit all applications and shut down the server properly.

Ê Press the On/Off button if the server has not been switched off by the

operating system.

Ê Unplug all power plugs.

Ê Disconnect all cables on the rear of the server.

Ê Remove the stabilizers from the server (see operating manual) and place the

server on its four rubber feet (1), if the server is operated in the vertical

position.

Ê Press and hold in the locks on both sides of the server (2), push the top

cover forwards and lift it up and off (3).
