Ê Open the server (see section “Opening the server” on page 19).
Ê Remove the crosspiece (see section “Removing the crosspiece” on
page 20).

Ê Fold the assembly brackets outwards on both sides of the corresponding
slot (1).
Ê If the slot was equipped: pull the memory module out of the slot (2).
