Removing and installing components during servicing
► Hold the drive tray in the centre on both
sides and carefully pull the CD/DVD drive
with the drive tray out of the drive bay.
► Carefully remove the front cover by pressing on the two snap-locks.
► Push the drive tray back into the removed CD/DVD drive until you feel it lock into place.
► Undo the two screws and remove the drive securing bracket from the back of the casing.
CD/DVD drive: installing
► Carefully push the front cover on to the drive tray, until you feel the two snap locks engage.
► Attach the drive securing bracket to the back of the casing with the two screws.
► Carefully push the CD/DVD drive with the
drive tray into the notebook in the direction
of the arrow.
► Tighten the screw.
► Install the battery again (see "Battery: inserting").
► Turn the notebook over and place it on a flat surface.
► Reconnect the cables that you disconnected before.
