Before you can use your n otebook for the first time you ne ed to charge the battery and install the
supplied software. The Win dows operating system and drivers requ ired are already pre-installed.
Upon de livery, the battery can be found in the battery compartment or in the accessories kit. The
battery must be charged if you want to operate your notebook with the battery.
When not plugged into a mains outlet, the notebook runs on its built-in battery. You can
increase the battery’s life by enabling the system’s energy saving functions.
When you use your notebook in your home or office, we recommend you use
the mains adapter instead of the battery.
Please read the chapter entitled "
Connecting e xternal dev ices", Page 36 for instr uc tions on
how to connect devices such as a mo use and a printer to the notebook.

your local sales outlet immediately!
