Working with the notebook
Switching off the Notebook

► Shut down the operating s ystem pro perly (e.
g. from the Windows Start menu, by clicking
on Start – Shut D own – Shut down – OK).
Notebook:
► If the notebook is not switched off
automatically, press the ON/OFF switch (1)
for approx. five seconds.

► Close the LCD screen (1) so that
it locks into place.

The status indicators provide informa tion about the status of the pow er supply, the drives and the
keyboard functions. These indicators are also visible w ith the notebo ok closed.
