The meanings of the symbols are as follows:
Power indicator
• Indicator lights up: The notebook is switched on.
• Indicator is o ff: The notebook is switched off.
Battery/charging ind icato r
The charging state of the battery is sho wn by th e battery indicator.
• Indicator lights up: The battery is charging.
• Indicator is off: The battery is not being charged or it is already f ull.

Wireless LAN indicator
• Indicator lights up: The wireless LAN module is powered on.
• Indicator is off: The wireless LAN module is powered off.

• Indicator lights up: The Caps Lock
key has been pressed.
All the characters you type appea r in upper case. In the case of overlay keys, the
character printed on the upper left of the key appears when that key is pressed.
