Key combinations
The following description of key combinations refers to f unct ions when using Microsoft
Windows. Some of the following key combinations may not function in other
operating systems and with some device drivers.
Key combinations are entered as follows:
► Press and hold the first key in the combination.
► While holding the first key down, press the other key or keys in the combination.
If an external ke yboa rd is being used, instead of pressing the
Fn
key, you

Help hotkey
Fn + F1Help hotkey
Starts the online help for the application currently active.
Energy saving mode
Fn + F2Energy s aving mode
Switches the notebook into the energy-saving mode.
Switching betwe en screen outputs
Fn + F3Switching between screen outputs
If an external m onitor is connected, the monitor on which the output is to be
displayed can be selected with this key combination.
You can opt to use:
• just the notebook’s LCD screen
• just the external monitor
• both the LCD s creen and the external monitor
Screen blanking

the display on again.

This key combination switche s your not ebook’s loudspea kers off and on.
Decrease volume

This key combination reduces the volume of the integrated loudspeakers.
Increase volume
Fn + F7Volu m

This key combination raises the volume of the integrated loudspeakers.
