► Open the S IM card holder (1).
► Push the SIM card (2) into the holder (3).
Make sure the c ontac ts of the SIM card
point tow ards the inside of the notebook.
► Re-close t h e S IM card holder.
► Lock the SIM card holder by gen tly pushing the holder in the opposite direction
to that shown by the arrow on the holder.

You will feel the SIM card holder lock into place.
► Close the cover of the SIM card slot.
► Install the battery again (see "
Battery: inserting", Page 12).
► Turn the notebook the right way up and place it on a flat surface.
► Reconnect the cables that yo u disconnected previously.
Removing the SIM ca rd
► Switch you r notebook off.

► Unplug the mains plug of the mains adapter from the mains socket .
► Disconnect all cables conne
cted to the no tebook.
► Turn your notebook over and place it on a stable, sturdy, flat surface. If necessary, lay an
anti-slip cloth on this surface to prevent the no tebook from being scratched.
► Remov e the battery (see "
Rem
oving the battery", Page 12).

► Remove the cove r of the SIM card
slot (1) by moving it in the direction
shown by the arrow (2).
