Keep the space shown in the installation examples.
If the installation is not performed accordingly, it could cause a short circuit and result
in a lack of operating performance.

3.1.2. Multiple outdoor unit installation
• Provide at least 10 in (250 mm) of space between the outdoor units if multiple units
are installed.
• When routing the piping from the side of an outdoor unit, provide space for the piping.

NOTES:
• If the space is larger than stated above, the condition will be the same as when there
is no obstacle.
• When installing the outdoor unit, be sure to open the front and left side to obtain
better operation eciency.
3.2. Transporting the unit
WARNING
Do not touch the ns. Otherwise, personal injury could result.
CAUTION
When carrying the unit, hold the handles on the right and left sides and be careful.
If the outdoor unit is carried from the bottom, hands or ngers may be pinched.
• Be sure to hold the handles on the sides of the unit. Otherwise, the suction grilles on
the sides of the unit may be deformed.
