Status indicators
The status indicators (1) provide information about the status of the power supply, the drives and the
keyboard functions.
The meanings of the status indicators are as follows:
Power indicator
• The indicator lights up green:The power adapter is supplying power to the notebook.
• The indicator flashes: The power adapter is supplying power to the notebook and the
notebook is in the Standby mode.
Battery indicator
• The indicator lights up green: The battery is supplying power to the notebook.
• The indicator flashes: The battery is supplying power to the notebook and the
notebook is in the Standby mode.
Battery charging indicator
• The indicator lights up green: The battery is supplying power to the notebook. The
battery is fully charged.
• The indicator glows yellow: The battery is charging.
• The indicator flashes red: The battery is nearly empty.
CD/DVD indicator
The indicator is lit: The CD/DVD in the optical drive is being accessed.
