Getting started
Switchingonforthefirst tim e: installing the software
Installing,Software,Installing,
Once the installation ha s been started the device m ust not be switched
off, unless the installation has been completed.
During installation, the device may only be rebooted when you are requested to do so!
The installation will otherwise not be carried out correctly and the contents
of the hard disk must be completely restored.
If the device is integrat
ed into a network, the user and server details as well as
the network pro toco l ar
e required during the software installation.
Contact your network ad
ministrator if you have any questions abou t these settings.
When you switch on the d
evice for the first time, the supplied software
is installed and config
ured. Plan a reasonable amount of time for this,
as this process m ust n
ot be interrupted.
You may need the lic
ence n umber for Windows during the installation. The licence
number is located o
n a sticker on your device.
Switching on the monitor and device
In order to avoid overheating, do not cover the ve ntilation areas
of the monitor or the device.
Depending on the variant, the device may be equipped with a main power switch on
the back of the device in addition to the ON /OF F button on the front.
► Switch the monitor on (see the operating manual for the monitor).

► On devices with main po wer switch: set the main switch on the back of
the device to the "I" position (1).
► Press the ON/O F F switch on the front of the device (2).

The power indicator glows and the device is started.
