Removing an accessible drive

► Remove the casing cover (see Chapter "Removing t he casing cover", Page 37).

► Disconnect any cables connected to the drive.

► Slide the retaining mechanism in the direction of th e arrow (1).

► Pull the drive out of the drive cage in th e direction of the arrow (2).

► If yo u do not install a new drive , then a drive placeholder must be installed in the drive

bay to prevent any foreign objects from entering the casing.

► Fit the casing cover back onto the casing (see Chap ter "

Reattaching the cas ing cover.", Page 3 8).

It may be necessary to modify the entry for the drive in the BIOS Setup.
