Troubleshooting and tips
Refer to the sa fety notes in the "Safety/regulations" manual and in the "Getting
started", Pa ge 11 chapter when connecting or disco nnecting cables.
If a fault occurs , try to c
orrect it as described in the following documentation:

• in the help systems of th
e software used
• in the documentation for your operating system
Help if problems occur
Should you encount
er a problem with your computer that you cannot resolve yourself:
► Note the ID number
of your device. The ID number is found on the type rating
plate on the back,
the underside o r the top of the ca sing.
► For further clarification of the problem, contact the Service Desk for your country (see the
Service Desk list or visit the Int ernet at "
http://support.ts.fujitsu.com/contact/se rvicedesk"). When
you do this, please have ready the identity number and serial number of your system.
Troubleshooting
Power i ndicator remains off after you have switched
on your device
Cause
Remedy
The m ains voltage supply is faulty. ► Check that the power cable is correctly
plugged into the device and into a grounded
mains outlet.
► C heck that the main switch at the rear of the
monitor is set to the "I" position.
► Sw itch the device on.
Internal power supply overloaded.
► Pu ll the power plug of the device out of the
mains outlet.
► Wait fo
r about 3 minutes.
► Plug the power plug into a properly grounded
mains outlet again.
► Sw it
ch the device on.
