When installing and operating th
e device, please observe the notes on
environmental conditions in Cha
pter "
Technical data", Page 62 as well as
the instructions in Chapter "
Ge
tting started", Page 12.
When setting u p the device, make s
ure there is clearance all around it so that
the casing receives enough ven
tilation. In order to avoid overheating, do not
cover the ventilation areas o
f the monitor or the device.
You must only operate the devic
e if the ra ted voltage used by the
device is set to the local main
s voltage.
The main s w i tch (if present) an
d the ON/OFF switch do not disconnect the
device from the mains v oltage
. To completely disconnect from the mains
voltage, remove the power plu
g from the power socket.
Replace the lithium battery
on the mainboard in accordance with the instructions
in "
Replac ing the lith ium ba
ttery", Page 61.
Caution, components in the s
ystem can get very hot.
The activities described in
these instructions must always be
performed with the greatest
care.
Repairs to the device m ust on
ly be carried out by qualified technicians. Incorrect
repairs could put the user at
great risk (electric shock, hazardous energy emissions,
risk of fire) or cause serio
us damage to the equipment.
Transporting the device

Transport all parts separately in their original pa ckaging or in a packaging which
protects them from knocks and jolts, to the n e w site.
Do not unpack th em until all transportation manoeuvres are completed.
If the device is broug ht from a cold environment into the room where i t will b e used,
condensation may occur. Before operating the device, wait until it is absolutely dry
and has reached approximately the same temperature as the installation site.
