Operation
Switching off the device
► Shut down the o perating system in a defined manner. In Windows: via the
Start menu and the Turn Off Computer function.

► If th e ope rating system does not automatically switch the device into energy-saving mode or
switch it off, press the ON/O FF switch. Warning, this could lead to a loss of data!

If the device is in standb y, it consumes a m inimu m of energy.
► Switch the device off at the main switch (if present).

The device no longer uses any power.
The main switch and the O N/O F F switch do not disconnect the device
from the mains voltage. To completely disconnect from the m ains voltage,
remove th e power plug from the power so cket.
► If necessary, s witch the monitor off (see the operating manual for the monitor).
