► Follow the instructions co ntained in the monitor manual to prepare the monitor
for operation (e.g. c onne cting cables).
► Plug the data cable into the suitable m o nitor port for the device (VGA, DVI-I, D isplayPort).
The monitor power cable may only be connected to the monitor s ocke t o f the device
if the monitor current consumption is less than 1.5 A at 230 V or 3 A at 11 5 V.
The values for the monitor current con sumption can be found in the technical
data on the mon itor or in the operating m a nual for the monitor.

► Depending on your device configuration level, plug the monitor power cable into either
the monitor socket of the device (1) or a grounded power outlet (2).
