Thismodelphonecontainsaradiotransmitterand
receiver.Thismodelphoneisdesignedand
manufacturednottoexceedtheemissionlimitsfor
exposuretoradiofrequency(RF)energyassetbythe
FCCoftheU.S.Government.Theselimitsarepartof
comprehensiveguidelinesandestablishpermitted
levelsofRFenergyforthegeneralpopulation.The
guidelinesarebasedonstandardsthatwere
developedbyindependentscientificorganizations
throughperiodicandthoroughevaluationofscientific
studies.
Theexposurestandardforwirelessmobilephones
employsaunitofmeasurementknownastheSpecific
AbsorptionRate(SAR).TheSARlimitsetbytheFCC
is1.6W/kg.TestsforSARareconductedusing
standardoperatingpositionsasacceptedbytheFCC
withthephonetransmittingatitshighestcertified
powerlevelinalltestedfrequencybands.Althoughthe
SARisdeterminedatthehighestcertifiedpowerlevel,
theactualSARlevelofthephonewhileoperatingcan
