ThismobilephonecomplieswiththeEUrequirementsforexposuretoradiowaves.
Yourmobilephoneisaradiotransceiver,designedandmanufacturednottoexceed
theSAR*limits**forexposuretoradio-frequency(RF)energy,whichSAR*value,when
testedforcomplianceagainstthestandardwas0.75W/kgforHEADand0.376W/
kgforBODY.WhiletheremaybedifferencesbetweentheSAR*levelsofvarious
phonesandatvariouspositions,theyallmeet***theEUrequirementsforRF
exposure.
* Theexposurestandardformobilephonesemploysaunitofmeasurementknown
astheSpecificAbsorptionRate,orSAR.
** TheSARlimitformobilephonesusedbythepublicis2.0watts/kilogram(W/Kg)
averagedovertengramsoftissue,recommendedbyTheCounciloftheEuropean
Union.Thelimitincorporatesasubstantialmarginofsafetytogiveadditional
protectionforthepublicandtoaccountforanyvariationsinmeasurements.
*** TestsforSARhavebeenconductedusingstandardoperationpositionswiththe
phonetransmittingatitshighestcertifiedpowerlevelinalltestedfrequency
bands.AlthoughtheSARisdeterminedatthehighestcertifiedpowerlevel,the
actualSARlevelofthephonewhileoperatingcanbewellbelowthemaximum
value.Thisisbecausethephoneisdesignedtooperateatmultiplepowerlevels
soastouseonlythepowerrequiredtoreachthenetwork.Ingeneral,thecloser
youaretoabasestationantenna,thelowerthepoweroutput.
