Power ON/OFF
Turning power ON/OFF
Turning power of FOMA terminal ON/OFF is explained here. < 電源 ON ／ OFF (Power ON/OFF)>
･ When turning power ON, a confirmation screen may appear asking if you perform Software update.

Press f for 2 seconds or more
Vibrator operates once and after a while, a message of confirmation of waterproofness appears,
then the following stand-by display appears.
･ Even when not pressing f for 2 seconds or more or pressing the button several times, FOMA
terminal may turn ON.
･ When turning the power ON for the first time → p.54
･ You can check the approximate received signal level.
･ When FOMA terminal is folded, the reception level appears on the sub-display.

Vibrator operates twice and a message indicating the termination appears, then the power is
turned OFF.
INFORMATION
･ To make a call or communication while is displayed out of service area or where the radio wave does not
reach, move to where the display disappears. However, the call may be disconnected even if is displayed and
you are talking without moving.
･ When UIM is not installed, a message that prompts you to insert UIM appears. Turn the power OFF, install UIM, then
turn the power ON again.

･ When the UIM is replaced, the terminal security code needs to be entered after turning on FOMA terminal. If the
correct terminal security code is entered, the stand-by display appears. If a wrong terminal security code is entered
5 times consecutively, the power is turned OFF (You can turn the power ON again).
