AUTO
SCSI bus width setting
This function sets the interface of the device by the type of SCSI board mounted in the host computer.
Set the 16 bit (Default) when the Ultra Wide SCSI Cards is mounted and set the 8 bit when the
narrow SCSI Cards is mounted in the PC.
NOTE
If the SCSI board prohibits a transfer of the 16 bit width data, set the 8 bit instead.
You cannot use this function when the setup mode is brought by pressing
MENU
in the Ready
status.

The option select screen appears with the
current setting AUTO blinking (blinking
indicates “changeable”).
4. Press or .
The displayed option changes (SLOT 1 or
SLOT 2 blinks).
5. When the desired option appears, press
ENTER
to save the change.
The LCD returns to the <<SETUP MODE>>
menu screen (Interface Board Slot).
6. To quit the <<SETUP MODE>>, turn off the
power.
