Troubleshooting and tips
The device cannot be switched off w ith the ON/OFF switch.
Cause
Remedy
System crash ► Keep the on/off switch pressed for at least 4
seconds until the machine switches off.
Caution: This can lead to a loss of data!
This procedure does not allow the operating
system to shut down in an orderly way. The next
time the system is started there may well be
error messages.
Monitor remains blank
Cause
Remedy
Power saving h as been activated (screen is
blank)
► Press any key on the keyboard.

► De ac tivate the screen saver. If
necessary, enter the appropriate
password.
or
► Alter the brightness and/or contrast until
you get a picture.
Brightness control is set to dark ► Adjust the brightness control.
Wrong setting for the monitor
► Restart the device.
► Press
F8
while the system is booting.
► Start th e system in protected mode.
► Set the corre ct value for the connected
monitor, as described in the operating
instructions for the monitor.
The screen display becomes darker
The backgr
ound lighting has a limited lifetime.
► If your scr
een display becomes too dark,
contact ou
r Service Desk.
With the passively cooled system variant
(FUTRO X913/X913-T), the background lighting
can de crease if the system environment does
not guarantee adequate dissipation of heat.
► Check the ambient t empera ture.
Message:
Frequency out of range:

Please change the display mode
to 1920 x 1080 with 60 Hz
The input signal (horizontal frequency and
refresh rate) does not correspond to the
technical monitor data.
► Adjust the video frequency range using the
computer softw are (see documentation for

► Adjust a different screen resolution using the
computer softw are (see documentation for
