Working wit h the Tablet PC
Switching the Tablet PC off
Back up your data and close all applications before you switch off your

Handwriting recognition

At present, handwriting recognition on Windows supports the following languages:
English, Germa n, French, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Chinese (traditional and simplied), Dutch,
Portuguese, Spanish, Brazilian, Norwegian (Bokmål and Nynorsk), Swedish, Finnish, Danish,
Polish, Rumanian, Serbian (Cyrillic a nd Latin script), Catalan, Russian, Czech and Croatian.
On Windows you can set the required language un der Control Panel Time,
Language and Region Language.

High-quali
ty LCD screens (TFT) are installed in Fujitsu Tablet PCs. For technical reasons,
these scree
ns are manufactured for a specic resolution. An optimal, clear picture can
only be ens
ured in the resolution intended for th e particular screen. A screen resolution
which diff
ers from the specication can result in an unclear picture.
The scree
n r esolution of your Ta blet PC’s touchscreen is optimally set at the factory.
Current p
roduction technology cannot guarantee an absolutely fault-free screen display. A few
isolated
constantly lit or unlit pixels may be present. The maximum permitted number of such
faulty p
ixelsisspecied in the international s tandard ISO 9241-307 (Class II).

A monit
or with HD resolution 1280 x 1024 has 1,310,720 pixels. E ach pixel consists of
three s
ubpixels (red, green, and blue), which m eans that there are almost 3.9 million
subpi
xels in total. According to ISO 924 1-307 (class II), a maximum of 3 light and 3
dark p
ixels and, in addition, 7 light or 13 d ark subpixels or an equivalent mix (1 light
subpi
xel counts as 2 dark subpixels) are allowed to be defective.
