Removing the card
To avoid any loss of data, always follow the correct procedure for removing the
card (see th e documentation for your operating system).

Press the edge of the card (1) so that the
card protrudes a little from the notebook.
Pull the card out of the slot (2).

Insert the card placeholder into the
slot gu ide.
Gently slide the card placeholder into the
slot until you feel it click into pla ce.
Loudspeakers and microphones

Information on the exact position of the speakers and microphone can be

Ports and controls", Page 9.
Please refer to chapter "
Key comb inations", Page 24 for information on setting the volume
and also enabling/disabling the loudspeakers using key combinations.
If you attach an external microphone, the built-in microphone is disabled.
The internal microphone can be deactivated togethe r with the WebCam via
the key combination

F12
. In add ition, the internal microphone can be
deactivated together with the WebCam in the BIOS Setup Utility.
When you connect headphones or external speakers, the built-in s peakers are disabled.
