Working with the notebook
Switching on the notebook
► Open the LCD scre en.
Switchingon
► Press the ON/OFF switch for about one
second to switch the notebook on.

The power-on indicator is lit.
Notebook: switching off
Back up your data and close all applications before you switch off your
device. Otherwise data might be lost.
► Shut down the ope
rating system correctly.
Notebook
► If the notebook is not switched off
automatically, press the ON/OFF switch
for approx. five seconds.
or
► Press a pen or a piece of wire (e.g.
a paper clip) firmly into the opening
of the battery reset button on the
underside of the device.
► Close the LCD screen.
