Switching the wireless com
ponents on and off
Before switching on your device for the first time, the on/off switch for
wireless components must be in the "ON" position.

"OFF" position to deactivate the
wireless components.
The Bluetooth and UMTS mod ules an d the wireless LAN tran smission unit (antenna)
will also be switched off when you switch off the wireless components.
You can also deactivate th e wireless components individually in the BIOS Setup.In
order to be able to do this, you will either need to know the supervisor password
if one has been assigned, or no password must have been assigned.

Details on using Wireless LAN can be found in the online help system
included in the Wireless LAN software.
You can find more information on h ow to use Bluetooth on the CD you
received with your Bluetooth software.
